When will the room be ready on arrival?
When do I have to vacate my room?
Check in from 2 pm onwards - your room will be cleaned and ready by 2 pm. Check out by 11 am. - rooms must be vacated by 11am.

Are there enough parking spaces at the hotel?
There is a large car park right in front of the hotel. As soon as you book your holiday your parking place is secured.

How can I pay my hotel bill?
We accept various credit cards and bank-cards and of course cash. A 2% discount is given for cash payments.

Where is smoking allowed in the hotel?
You can smoke on the balcony of your room but not in the room itself. Smoking is also permitted in the bar and wine-bar restaurant.

Where is the nearest doctor and chemist?
The doctor’s surgery here in Fuschl is open Monday to Friday from 3 - 4 pm. and during these times the chemist is also open. Outside of these times you have to go to St. Gilgen which is about 6 km away, where there is also a larger chemist, a dentist, an eye specialist and a gynecologist.

How, when and where can I pay my bar bill?
You can either pay as you go at the bar, or at the end of your stay at the reception.

What should I do if I am arriving late at night?
If you are planning on arriving later than 6 pm please let us know in advance. If you are delayed for any reason please try to inform us of the delay if at all possible.

How do I get to the hotel as quickly and easily as possible?
Simply look under “Location and Arrival” on this homepage.

Is there a lockable bike shed available for our cycles?
We do have a lockable room for your bikes and equipment. Also with a charging station for electric bikes.

Are there ski and snowboard storage facilities in the hotel?
Yes, in the hotel cellar you will find a ski stand and a heated ski boot rack.

Where is the nearest train station?
Salzburg 25 km or Bad Ischl 30 km from the hotel.

Where is the nearest airport?
Salzburg, 30 km away.

How can I get from the airport or station to the hotel?
By the city bus and futher with the bus line 150.

Where is the nearest bus stop?
Busterminal 350m away.

Can I hire a car when I get to Fuschl am See?
Yes, at the tourist office in Fuschl am See.

Can I go fishing in Fuschl am See?
Yes, angling permits can be bought at the local shop “Kaufhaus Huber” right next to the hotel or at the petrol station. Permits are available from May until October.

Where is the nearest petrol station?
The village petrol station is about 1 km from the hotel on the main road.

Where is the nearest garage for car repairs?
In Fuschl am See "Die Zanglerei" for all brands, in the village of Hof bei Salzburg (approx. 6km) there are VW, Audi, Opel und Ford garages. In St. Gilgen (6km) there are Suzuki, Mazda and Renault garages.

How high are the cancellation charges?
If your booking is done directly via stefanihof.at you benefit from our cancellation charges.
Up to 2 weeks before arrival your cancellation is totally for FREE.
Within 2 weeks before arrival: 50% of the total price, excl. tax and meal fees.
Within 2 days before arrival: 90% of the total price, excl. tax and meal fees.

Are we allowed to bring our pets on holiday with us?
Dogs are allowed in the rooms if you inform us at the time of booking. Please note that we charge € 15,00 per day, no food or extra service.

What do I have to bring with me for my baby?
In the hotel highchairs, baby phones and cots are available free of charge.

Is there a babysitter at the hotel?
Unfortunately not, but we can organize a baby sitter for you at standard babysitting rates.

How many beds does the Hotel Stefanihof have?
The main hotel has 18 rooms (single to 4 person occupancy possible), in our guesthouse annex we have 8 comfortable rooms, which means that we can take groups of up to 56 persons.

Is internet available at the hotel?
You can surf using the hotel’s WLAN in the hotel lounge and restaurant free of charge.

What do your prices include?
All prices mentioned are per person per day including superior half-board.

How far away is the nearest ski resort?
Floodlit skiing is offered several times a week at the local ski lift in Hof bei Salzburg, about 10 minutes by car from the hotel.
Ski area Gaissau-Hintersee, about a 20-minute drive.
The Zwölferhorn ski slope in St. Gilgen, about a 10-minute drive.
Postalm Ski Arena, about 30 minutes’ drive.
Single ski lifts in the villages of Koppl and Faistenau about 10 minutes away by car.

Where can I go cross-country skiing?
There are cross-country skiing trails of varying lengths and levels of difficulty starting just outside the hotel’s back door.

How far away is the beach?
The shingle beach is just 250 metres from the hotel, (a 3-minute walk), entry free.

Are there any shops in Fuschl am See?
There are two mini-markets, souvenir shops and news agents in Fuschl am See, you will find a wider range of shops in St. Gilgen, Hof, Bad Ischl or Salzburg.
