Indoor Activity Pool “Monte Mare” in Golling

Bräustübl - Beer Hall

The Bräustübl in Salzburg’s Old Town is Austria’s biggest beer hall, where beer is still served out of wooden barrels. There are waiters but it’s customary to go and get the beer yourself. If you’re hungry local specialities are available in the stand corridor, which will remind you of a traditional food market hall but you can also bring your own snack with you. If you want a taste of real Salzburg then this is the place to come to!

Gut Aiderbichl animal sanctuary

Built in 2000 the country house Gut Aiderbichl has become a symbol for animal protection and is just a 20 minute drive from the Hotel Stefanihof. The country sanctuary “Gut Aiderbichl” is under the private ownership of Michael Aufhauser who has been active in establishing innovative means of animal protection since 1989. Abandoned and unwanted animals have found a caring home here at Gut Aiderbichl and the work done here has become a milestone in animal protection.

Waldhofalm mountain hut restaurant

Just 25 minutes walk from the hotel and yet far from the hustle and bustle of daily life and slightly off the beaten track you will find the Waldhofalm. It’s more than just a cosy restaurant, it is tradition, comfort, a relaxed atmosphere and heartfelt hospitality all rolled into one.
